Welcome to Lone Star Family Health Center

FHC The Lone Star Family Health Center was founded in 2002 for the purpose of providing comprehensive medical care to the residents of Montgomery County. It is staffed by physicians who are board certified in Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology, nurse practitioners and resident physicians. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to all of our patients, from prenatal care and newborns to the elderly. We are skilled in the care of acute illnesses and chronic disease management. Our goal is to be the medical home for you and your family.

Our 23,000 square foot facility houses clinic space, a full service pharmacy, eligibility services and a wide range of medical services. We provide comprehensive women’s health services including prenatal care. We also provide both well and sick child care. We care for our patients when they are admitted to the hospital and also provide care at the nursing home. We believe that this comprehensive approach to patients gives them the best chance to maintain good health.

Child care The Lone Star Family Health Center Pharmacy provides prescription services, medication counseling and management services as well as various clinic pharmacist services. We have in house counseling, diabetes education, a dental clinic and procedure clinics. We also have grants which allow us to provide reduced cost services to patients who may not have the resources or who have insurance that may exclude certain services, such as pregnancy care, family planning for both men and women, pap screening, and mammogram screening.

The Lone Star Family Health Center is open from 8 am until 9 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays. Evening and Saturday hours are specifically for walk in acute care visits, but walk in patients are also seen during the day. Our goal is to see everyone who needs to be seen when they need to be seen.
